Tournament Details

Who Can Play?

The tournament is open to all B and C level players, ages 21 and up. Each team must comprised of players with an average age of at least 30 years.

Teams must have a minimum of 8 skaters and may not exceed 18 skaters. Each team will be allowed up to two goalies.

At the Tournament

Welcome to the Springfield Memorial Cup! The headquarters for the Tournament will be in the Party Room in Rink 2 of the Nelson Center. Here you will find posted standings, locker room assignments and more. This is where your Team Captain will register before your first game. Your Team Rep will receive additional tournament information at this time.

All games will be played on Rink 2 of the Nelson Center. Your game schedule will be available about one week prior to the Tournament Date. All teams are guaranteed 3 round-robin games, one Friday evening and two games on Saturday. After the round-robin games are completed, the two top teams from each division will proceed to the Sunday Championship and Consolation games. All games will conclude by 3:00 PM on Sunday.

Didn't qualify for the Championship or Consolation game? You can still lace up your skates on Sunday and participate in a one-of-a-kind skills competition. Show off your skills in events such as The Hardest Shot, The Fastest Skater, Accuracy Shooting, and more. Your Team Captain will receive detailed information about the skills competition during gameday registration.
