Who Can Play?

The tournament is open to all B and C level players, ages 21 and up. All players MUST be at least 21 years old by the first day of the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS. Former professionals are prohibited from participation. Each team must be comprised of players with an average age of 30 years or older. Teams may have 8-18 skaters and up to 2 goalies. Teams that are deemed to be in violation of these rules may be subject to forfeit and/or expulsion from the tournament.

At the Tournament

Welcome to the Springfield Memorial Cup! The headquarters for the Tournament will be in the Lobby of Rink 2 at the Nelson Center complex. Here you will find posted standings, locker room assignments and more. This is where your Team Captain will register before your first game and will receive additional tournament information at this time.

All games will be played on Rink 2 of the Nelson Center. Game schedules will be made available no later than one week prior to the tournament start date. All teams are guaranteed 3 round-robin games, one Friday evening and two games on Saturday. After the round-robin games are completed, the top two teams from each division will proceed to the Sunday Championship and Consolation games. All games will conclude early in the afternoon on Sunday.
